Melinda (Mindy) Meyer

Mindy received her BA degree in Business Administration from the University of Iowa. She has 10 years of experience working in the banking and mortgage industry, and spent time working as a settlement officer helping people understand the numbers and terms of their contracts. She loves working for HBC because of her lifelong love of numbers and problem solving. This job allows her to dig into both, every day! Her favorite thing to do is work with a new client to clean up their books because she is able to gain a real sense of accomplishment once her work is complete. She feels the most important thing about her job is being able to ensure that clients’ books stay reconciled every month without issues. She loves a sense of orderliness and feels it’s a crucial part of helping her business owners stay successful. In addition to her role at HBC, she is the mom of 2 girls who were both born in Hawaii, so finding time to swim in the ocean and visit the beach is important to her. When she is not working you might find her laughing with her husband and kids, playing logic games on her phone while watching a movie, or reading a good book.
